About Kentenia State Forest
Kentenia is one of the oldest state forests in the United States and was acquired by the Kentenie Cantron Corporation in 1919. It covers seven scattered areas with a total area of 4,277 hectares and is accessible via the Pastoral Trail. The largest part of the area includes the largest forest in the state with a total area of 1,832 hectares and a population of about 2,500 people.

In the Northeast, Kentucky Ridge Forest borders the park and Interstate 190 If you drive from Pineville to Chenoa, you will pass through the forest.
