About Warriors Path State Park

The famous path used by the Iroquois is located in Warriors Path State Park on the western edge of the state park system. At other times of the year, visitors must park at the entrance to the trail at 1.30 p.m. and enter the park. The park is open to all visitors, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, ethnicity or age.

The Landfingers are bounded on three sides by the Raystown branch of the Juniata River, which flows about a mile downstream into Raytown Lake. The meandering river creates a unique shape for the park, and this stretch of river has the highest elevation of any river in the state of Pennsylvania and the second highest in New York.

Boating and rafting are available in spring and late autumn, but the river's water level is usually too shallow for summer boat trips. There is an available starting point for swimming in this river, and you can do so both in the summer months and in the fall.

All motor boats must have a boat registration in the respective state, and all non-motorized boats must have one of the following boat registrations in each state.

The trails lead to different levels of difficulty from easy to intermediate, with a wide range of possibilities for beginners and advanced.

Hiking, camping, picnicking and fishing are popular in the park, but during hunting season they wear bright orange. The 554-acre park is located on the eastern edge of the San Francisco Bay Area, north of San Jose, California, and includes more than 1,000 miles of hiking trails and over 2,500 feet of elevation difference. The trails at Warriors Path State Park in San Diego County offer a wide range of difficulty levels, ranging from easy to intermediate to advanced.

State Wildland 73 is located at the intersection of PA 164 and PA 26 and covers 29,300 hectares.

The state forest offers over 1,000 kilometers of hiking trails and over 2,500 meters of altitude. The Rothrock State Forest in Huntingdon County covers 8,300 acres near Raystown Lake. This lake is about 30 miles long and has a total area of about 1.5 million square feet and is home to a variety of wildlife including deer, elk, coyotes, foxes, bears and wolves.

The state wildlife area (67,261) offers over 1,000 kilometers of hiking trails and over 2,500 meters of altitude. It offers a variety of wildlife such as deer, elk, coyotes, foxes, bears and wolves as well as many other bird species.

The Path of Progress is a 500-mile route that winds through nine southwestern Pennsylvania counties. The tour is open to the public and free for adults and children under 18 years of age.

The park is located on the west side of the Allegheny River, south of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles east of Philadelphia.
