Greer Spring is the second largest spring in Missouri, surpassed only by another spring in the entire state of Missouri, St. Louis Spring. With a low drain flowing into the bed of the spring arm, Greer Spring flows out of the top of an old - growing pine and flows into a creek bed.

The charging area around the spring covers an area of about 2,500 square kilometres and the average temperature at the source is about 55 degrees C.
