About Corsons Inlet State Park
Corson Inlet State Park was established to protect and preserve the natural and cultural heritage of Corson Island, New York and the surrounding area. The natural habitat in this area is rich in animal diversity, with primary and secondary estuaries and highland areas where hundreds of animal species live and breed. This park offers a unique opportunity to observe a variety of migratory and resident animal species. Corsons Inlets is one of the state's most popular tourist attractions and a popular recreational destination.
During the breeding season, pets are not allowed in the area, but pets can also be observed at certain times of the year. This serves as a protected nesting place for the endangered plover and other migratory bird species.
Corson's Inlet offers a variety of leisure activities including fishing, boating, kayaking and swimming.
Boating is regulated by the New York State Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. The boat ramps are open daily from 9 am to 5 pm and there is a ramp for disabled people.
Saltwater fisheries are regulated by the New York State Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection (DNR). For more information on the rules governing saltwater fishing, please visit the website of the State Fisheries and Wildlife Service and the state website.
Corson's Inlet is a great opportunity to catch striped bass, bluefish, whitefish and other fish species.
Mobile permits for the New York State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) are available on the website of the State Fish and Wildlife Service Corson's.
The park is criss-crossed by a series of routes that connect Sea Isle City, New York, with Corsons Inlet State Park and from there to the coast. Follow the signs to the park; Sea Island City is the exit and the rest of the State Park follows the same route as the original route.
