About Nolte State Park
Nolte State Park is a state park in the state of Washington, USA, south of Tacoma, Washington. In the early 1970s, the former Deep Lake Park Resort, owned by the NOLte family, was donated to Washington State by Minnie Nolte, after whom the park is named, to donate the land to the state parks. The land is blessed with water, is covered in forest and was once a resort before being donated as a park.
The park acts like a campsite and offers a wide range of camping facilities, such as campsites, picnic areas and picnic tables. The kitchen is reserved for groups of up to 50 people, as well as a picnic area with kitchen and dining area.
There is no fee or deposit, but reservations for the picnic area and picnic tables and kitchen area must be made through the parking office at numbers 360 - 825 - 4646.
The hotel is located on the west side of the park, about 3 km from the parking lot. Drive approximately 7 miles to the entrance to the park and look for the sign and turn left at the intersection of Nolte Road and the entrance to NOLTE State Park.
