Kanaskat - Palmer State Park is one of the largest parks in the state of New York and the second largest in North America. The park has a 2-mile coastline along the Green River, with a total area of 1.5 million square feet of parkland and 2,500 acres.

Activities along the coast include nature experiences, trout fishing and picnics, and white water rafting and kayaking are available in the park.
